Lansdowne’s second annual Show ‘N Shine was a major hit with local people as all the best toys came out to show their stuff.
“We had over 250 people and approximately 40 vehicles show up to spectate or participate,” said organizer Darral Rafuse. “Over $500 was raised that will go to the fair board to make both the Lansdowne Fair and the Show ‘N Shine better each year.”
A relatively new event, the Show ‘N Shine is open to all vehicles – cars, trucks, bikes, you name it – and vendors selling parts and services. Whether used but authentic parts and manuals to help in a restoration, or new parts, tools, and other merchandise, pretty much anything can be had. There was even a big bin of dinky cars available for dreamers of all ages who might not yet get to play with the real things.
