(GANANOQUE, ONTARIO) This is a show that just makes you want to SHOUT! Kick your heels up and SHOUT….

Sold out crowds filled the Springer theatre with raucous laughter and song as everyone joined in to enjoy the opening of SUDS – The Rocking 60s Musical Soap Opera.

Mr. Postman (Daniel Falk) doesn’t have a chance when Cindy (Alison MacDonald) decides he’d better deliver that letter, the sooner the better, during rehearsals for SUDS – The Rocking 60s Musical Soap Opera at the Springer Theatre (May 14, 2013)

“I don’t remember the last time I had this much fun,” said one theatre goer who chose not to give her name. “And to think they managed to fit all of those songs in there. It’s just amazing.”

And the crowd agreed. Comments flew through the theatre as they watched and laughed and cried and sang along.

“Did you see that? My, are they good!”

“I didn’t think kids this age would even want to learn these songs, but listen to them!”

Some had just come up from the Do Wah Diddy Dinner and Dance and were already primed, others had just arrived, but all had a wonderful evening. At no point does the show lose its energy or its spark, and timely humour reigns supreme. Just watch out for those Corvairs – there was a reason they were dubbed unsafe at any speed.
