AUGUST 3, 2013, OPENING NIGHT OF THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE

GANANOQUE, ON –Every year, friends of the playhouse gather on the decks to celebrate another summer of world-class entertainment at the annual fish fry fundraiser. Join the party this year on the opening night of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee on August 3rd, 5:30pm at the Springer Theatre and enjoy fish, fries, a selection of salads and ice cream with your ticket purchase. A cash bar will be available, and everyone is welcome to take part in the variety of fundraising games for a chance to win some great prizes! (Participation by donation).

“The Annual Fish Fry is a wonderful way to take the whole family out to dinner,” says Playhouse board member Marion Westenberg. “Healthy fish, yummy coleslaw, and seconds of ice cream sundaes! This year we will bring three grandchildren, who will adore the opening night of “Spelling Bee”; we can’t wait!”

The Thousand Islands Playhouse Springer Theatre is located at 690 Charles Street, Gananoque, ON. The Playhouse is happy to accept donations by cash, Visa, Mastercard, or cheque (with ID). Funds raised at this event will go towards supporting the Thousand Islands Playhouse in providing quality entertainment at affordable prices.
