(Watertown, NY) As the seasons change, thoughts begin to turn to winter holiday celebrations and gift giving. Even though Halloween isn’t with us yet, many businesses are already gearing up for the gift giving season.
However, not everyone wants the ordinary gifts available with the mass marketers. Sometimes the preferred item is something small and unique, something more personal. Sometimes it isn’t a thing at all, but a service or entertainment.
Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukah, Diwali, Eid, or any other of these momentous occasions, the goods and services auction being held on November 2 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm at the All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church at 1330 Gotham Street in Watertown, NY, is a good place to look for these special gifts.
Perhaps you’d like to have a gourmet cook prepare a special dinner for you and serve it to you and guests in your own home. Or maybe you need some other specialized work done.
Maybe you’re looking for one of a kind original art or treasured antiques. The selection is widely varied, and available to the highest bidder.
Over the course of the evening you can also dance to the music of Shelley Gael and company while enjoying appetizers and desserts, accompanied by wine or beer from the cash bar.
Funds raised will go toward improving the church.
Tickets for the event are $3.00 per individual, $5.00 per couple with children 16 and under free of charge. All persons 16 and under must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or adult.
