“Ev’rybody wants to be a cat
Because a cat’s the only cat
Who knows where it’s at …”

(Gananoque, ON) Time to trim your whiskers and get out your tails – the Gananoque and District Humane Society (GDHS) is getting ready to bring you its 3rd Annual Fur Ball Boat Cruise.
“Please join us aboard the Sea Prince at the Rockport Boat Line for a fun-filled sightseeing cruise,” said Heather Caird of the GDHS.
The Rockport Boat Line will be providing the Sea Prince for a fantastic evening of partying for the benefit of the animals on Friday, July 25.
Snacks and munchies will be available for all, with live rock ‘n roll music by R-Banned so everyone can bunny hop, turkey trot, pussyfoot and crocodile rock to their hearts’ content. A cash bar is available, and everyone is encouraged to come out and enjoy themselves. If they wish, they may even dress as their favourite animals wearing make-up, masks, silly hats, costumes or whatever they choose. The emphasis is on fun, and all funds raised by the shelter will go for the benefit of the animals.
“The boat departs at 6:00 p.m. and returns at 8:00 p.m.,” said Caird. “Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to boarding to purchase or pick up your tickets.”
Tickets are $25 per person and can be reserved in advance by calling Arlene, at 613-923-1953, or emailing Heather at email@example.com .
“We look forward to taking in the beauty of the 1000 Islands with you, all while supporting the animals at the Gananoque & District Humane Society,” said Caird.
