It is the season of the spirit
The message if we hear it
Is ‘Make it last all year’

– Paul Williams, “It Feels Like Christmas”

(Gananoque, ON) Gananoque will be ringing with joyous voices raised in song over the next 12 days as the Holiday Harmonizers hit the main street and sing popular carols new and old. A product of Diane Stapley and the BIA, this free music is there to bring joy and happiness to all those willing to listen and share in the message.

There is no schedule, no plan. They will simply appear in different businesses along the street and burst into song.

“It was pretty simple really,” said Stapley. “It’s so cold this year, and people need a boost, some way to bring out the joy of the season.”

If you see them, feel free to join in – you probably know the songs and they love to hear the extra voices. If you wish to show appreciation, they enjoy warm smiles, happy spontaneous applause and any donations to the Food Bank, located at the Royal Canadian Legion.
